I just ordered some goodies from Emma at My Creative Time. I am so excited to use them. Hopefully I will get a post or two using her goodies. Have a Happy Halloween!

Throwback Thursday with Emma

I chose to use "Just Because Cards" to create a card for Emma's Throwback Thursday. I used the "Distressed Stripes" embossing folder on the trunk of the tree and the "Swiss Dots" embossing folder on the blue backgroud of the card. The sentiment is from Emma's stamp set called "Turn That Frown Upside Down." I love the way the card turned out.

Thank You to Sheila at She's A Sassy Lady

Thank you Sheila for the blog award. You are very kind. I love to follow your blog to see what you are creating next.

Father's Day Card

My youngest daughter wanted to make a card for her dad. When my children ask their dad what they could get for him for special occasions like his birthday or Father's Day (he is not a materialist guy at all), he always tells them in a joking way "World Peace." So my youngest daughter wanted me to use my Cricut to cut out a "world." I do not own a cart with a "world" cut. So I printed a picture off of the internet. I think that it turned out super cute. My daughter was thrilled with the outcome of the card. I am excited to see my husband's reaction to his Father's Day card.

The card below is an anniversary card that I created using the Stampin' Up "Love Bug" set.

More Cards to Share!

The first card I that I created is for my daughter's fourth grade teacher for Teacher Appreciation Day. I was inspired by Emma at www.mycreativetime.blogspot.com. She created a card using her stamp line. I love her stamps.

The second card is a Mother's Day card that I created for my Mom. I used the Walk in My Garden cart to create the vase and flowers.

The third card I created for my neice who is a nurse. Nurse appreciation day is coming up soon and this is what I created for her. I used the Everyday Paper Dolls cart to create the nurse. Most of the papers used were from Papertrey ink.

Easter Cards

I have created a few Easter cards to send to family and friends. I have a more to make before Easter Sunday arrives. After mid-night tonight we are expected to get 6 to 10 inches of snow, yes, I said snow. It really hasn't felt like spring at all. I guess it is a good time to create some more cards.

Throwback Food Challenge!

I made this cupcake card using the Sweet Treats cartridge. I used pink floss to wrap around the black scalloped circle. I love the pink paper especially since it is has a pretty sheen to it.

Throwback Thursday with Emma!

The challenge for this week on Emma's blog was to create a Christmas themed card using the Celebrations cartridge. I do not own this cart so I chose the Stretch Your Imagination cartridge. I used the tree from the cart. I used my Gypsy to creat the layout. I also used my i-rock to place the gems onto the tree. I just love my i-rock.

I am so happy that Emma extended the challenges a couple of days, since it would have been impossible to have gotten it done before today. It is hard to believe that tomorrow is November 1st. It is time to start thinking about the holidays. Have a great week.

Throwback Thursday "Sports Theme"

My oldest daughter plays varsity volleyball. I thought that this card would be perfect for her. I cut the volleyball from the Everyday Paper Dolls cart. I welded the word spike on my Gypsy. The most fun was using my new irock tool. It is so fun and easy to use.

Throwback Thursday!

The challenge for Throwback Thursday this week is to create an animal card. I used the zebra from Everyday Paper Dolls. I used my gypsy to weld the card and I cut the base of the card with white cardstock. For the front of the card I used black and white patterned paper for the zebra. I used pink stickles to outline the lines in the zebra pattern.

Puppy Card

I made this puppy card from Everyday Paper Dolls for my nephew who turns one soon. I got the idea from Emma at My Creative Time. I used Papertrey Ink cardstock.

Throwback Thursday with Emma!

For the Throwback Thursday Challenge with Emma I used Stampin' Up cardstock for the base, the other solid colors are from Papertrey Ink and the patterned paper is from Cloud 9 Design. I used a stamp for my image from Fresh Cuts by Stampin' Up . I love the fall colors.
